Forever Darling Premiere

Recommended Posts

We literally have a Tim Horton's directly on the other side of our back fence...which is both convenient and terribly inconvenient, if you know what I mean.

Folgers trumpets the smell of coffee waking you up in the morning as something pretty spiffy. The smell of freshly baked donuts wafting through one's bedroom window ain't half bad either.

O M G talk about a great way to wake up, closest one to me is a whole block away so the smell has dissipated by the time it reaches my bedroom.

Was there today, such a nice place for casual meals and those doughnuts are so great too.  Why do you say WE're lucky, they did merge with your Burger King you know.

Was confused about 'luv's' Horton post; but, since we are still talking about it; we, here in NYS, have had it for at least 10 years here in Jamestown.  They only recently became affiliated nationally, I believe, with Burger King

You really must get back here, luv, if you like Horton's - ; two of them within a mile of downtown, on North Main Street, Rt. 60; in addition to South Main; W. Fairmount, Lakewood, and East Second Street, Jamestown; ALL within a few miles of downtown Jamestown.  ..

I have about ten of them within a five minute drive from here, LOL!  They're like Starbucks in the US, every corner has one.

We need to open a thread on restaurant favorites; but, it confused me how we got off on this 'Forever Darling' premiere thread, oneof the more important events in Jamestown history....But, Panera just  opened in Lakewood about a mile from me; not been there yet; is it a bakery?

Panera does have baked good - bread, rolls, cookies, etc. - but it does have other food as well...mostly salads, sandwiches, and soups.  One just opened near us here in PA.  We've enjoyed it.

The photos are part of a book Chris put together. There have been many out in the public for years. No one is selling them on Amazon. The book is on Amazon with a release date of next April. Go click the link.

Thanks for clarifying this, woman;  I was building up a fierce volcano within myself.  You ARE the best.  JK:fabrary:

P.S.  Chris is, with a friend he graduated with in 1982, buying one of our iconic restaurants destroyed by fire in May;  hadn't got around to posting that; since I didn't think anyone would know who he is.  I appreciate your reply.

Just received from Amazon, Christopher T. Olsen, Lucy Comes Home, A Photographic Journey; it's lovely.

Rumor has it, the Restaurant he and his former classmate have not progressed in the repair of the burned-out famous eating place, Bemus Point (on the other side of the Lake); [questionable assumption if they are still buying it] can't remember who told me; but, if I hear anything further, will pass the word along.  Just as a reminder, Chris is son to the Forever Darling Prremiere Queen, Janice Swanson (at the time) during Arnazes visit here in '56.
