  1. Yes correct. I was referring to the flashback scene from the Christmas show.
  2. All the episodes that were colorized in the first apartment were before "Redecorating" The furniture changed after that.
  3. I know this is a bit late for this topic but I noticed that in the flashback scene of Lucy Goes to the Hospital, the color of the sofa was changed from yellow to a dark pink. I wonder why that was? I did notice that the pink looked more natural than the yellow maybe that's why.
  4. I wish The Lucy Show would get the Blu-ray treatment someday.
  5. Lol! I would have loved to see Lucy on a Star Trek episode with Viv as the two green aliens.
  6. Lol! I thought the same. I really liked the Vitameatavegimin part but the rest fell flat with me. With all they did to recreate the Grape stomping set, you'd think the could have used it to their full advantage and recreate that scene with Debra Messing. I did like the part where Karen (as Ethel) looked at Lucy (Debra), felt her robe and commented on it. It was a bit off character but it was funny to me. Debra should have kept doing Lucy throughout the episode. I really felt Lucy Ricardo coming through to her. At least I felt it. The sets were create as much as possible to the original. Overall I enjoyed the tribute.
  7. I have Comcast and in the apps section there's an app called Tubi and they have have many old TV shows including the entire Here's Lucy series and unedited with only one advertisement in the middle. If you have Comcast you might wanna look it up.
  8. The second half of the video isa recreation of "Cuban Pete" Lucie and her dad did if I'm not mistaken in 1980 in Miami in the old Orange bowl stadium. I had a chance to see them and didn't which I now regret. Lucie's wearing her moms famous green dress.
  9. Aside from the popular episodes, I think that some episodes that have some sort of significance should be colorized like Lucy's Last Birthday for the month of August and Lucy thinks Ricky is trying to murder her for their 70th anniversary being it was their first episode or The girls want to go to a nightclub, etc.
  10. I am also tired of the Christmas episode. The colors make it watchable for me but I would love to see CBS colorize "Together For Christmas" and "Chris' New Years Eve Party". Now that I'm at it, I would like to see "Lucy's Last Birthday" for Lucy's actual birthday. Hopefully I could see these before I kick the bucket.
  11. I noticed in the Christmas episode that they changed the color of the sofa from yellow to pink in the Lucy goes to the hospital unless I'm mistaken.
  12. I'm still not convinced with Cate playing Lucy. Yes she is a great actress but doesn't mean she'd make a great Lucy. Just like Tom Hanks playing Mr. Rodgers. I don't see Mr. Rodgers I see Tom Hanks. But maybe she'll surprise us.
  13. Top Jimmy & The Rhythm Pigs actually do exist.
  14. I'm sure it's not the actual one but that blue curtain at the window looks familiar.
  15. I just got my copy and loved it, especially the mini doc on colorization. I noticed that when they went inside West Wing studios they were colorizing "Paris At Last". I'm assuming that will be the next ep to be colorized.
  16. Lucy and Valerie Harper (far right) in Wildcats
  17. I began recording ILL eps after I had purchased my first VHS recorder in 1985. Channel 33 here in Miami back in the 80's used to show ILL eps practically unedited so I recorded those from them until Columbia House began selling them. Then it was 5 years of torture and $$$ waiting to get them all. This might be off topic but in the early 90's, I remember that there were a small handful of ILL eps that were restored and re-edited. Almost Bluray quality. They were broadcast along with the other scratchy eps. I recorded some of them but never saw those on tv ever again. Bewitched got the same treatment and they started airing them with the first season theme song. What ever happened to those ILL eps if anyone remembers?
  18. If the original film couldn't be located then what source is it coming from?
  19. I thought Dame Edna was the oldest.
  20. Loved what Lucy's Granddaughter had to say. Spot on!
