C L A U D E
I'm enjoying all this ILL love from TV Guide this year. They were always on her side and did some fine tributes to her too over the decades.
C L A U D E
TV Guide has named the birth of Little Ricky the #1 "most riveting moment in TV history!" Only fair and so so true. How often did real life intersect with a TV show that was so popular.
leenorman
So looks like another polka dot dress showed up in another auction and went for more than the blue one. http://www.dailymail...8K-auction.html Was wondering about THIS one - is this the one mentioned on Good Morning, America! yesterday, I believe? If not, the day before.... Thanks if you know.
Brock
I was on a tour of historic local homes and buildings this afternoon and found one of the houses had a kitchen packed with Lucy stuff! I've known the owner of the house for quite some time, so I wonder why he never brought his fandom up!

He tried to, many times, but every time he brought up the Queen of comedy, you interrupted at The Queen and started talking about Diana`s mother in law. Brock
The second episode of the new season of Two & A Half Men airing October 3 is entitled "I Think I Banged Lucille Ball". lol Carl Reiner is listed as a guest-star, so I guess this expands on his previously mentioned Lucy sexcapade. C L A U D E
If not tasteless! I doubt the great Carl Reiner would be involved if did not have some redeeming values, the man loved Lucy for corn sakes.

C L A U D E
The 10/3 episode of Two and a Half Men is titled "I think I Banged Lucille Ball". WTF. Speaking of that, am reading a book on Peter Lawford, THE MAN WHO KEPT THE SECRETS, and there's this one pic of Lucy and Peter, dating in November 1944, probably at the time of Lucy's first divorce from Mr Arnaz. Thank God, she never married Peter, he scored with as many hookers as Desi did.
Annaleigh
I was just watching TCM and in between films they did a "Carol Burnett on Lucille Ball", then promoted The Long, Long Trailer which will be on this week. Very nice tidbit on our lady!
Luvsbway
Did it end with a bit of the Hutzpaugh bit from Carol Plus 2? If so that was a piece done back a few years when Lucy was star of the month. I got lucky and caught that and saved it when it was tivoing a bunch of her movies that month. I think it was great.
