Lucy: There are moments in a maiden's life when her days are pure as bliss. But the moment of them all, the moment I'll recall, the blissest of the bliss, is this. For today, you will slay me a dragon. My darling, my hero, I'm thrilled.

Scotty MacTavish MacDougall MacArdo: Eh. :D

Lucy: It's like we're in a fairy tale... except you'll probably get killed. So for thirty-two bars, let us sing and act merrily.

Scotty: Life is ours.

Lucy:...Temporarily.

Lucy: Well! How long has THIS been going on??

Ricky: What?

Lucy: They're racing little girls at Churchill Downs!

Ricky: What??

Lucy: It says right here: "First race won by THREE year old maiden"!

Ricky: I wouldn't worry about that little girl if I were you. She's as strong as a horse!

Ricky: We're rehearsing for a show I'm putting on at the Club.

Mrs. Pomerantz: YOU put on SHOWS?! WHY?!

Ricky: Why?

Mrs. Pomerantz: I mean, do you do this for a LIVING?

Ricky: Oh, no. We developed a bad habit -- we like to EAT!

:lucy1: Mr. Wayne, let me tell you -- when I saw you in The High & The Mighty -- when YOUR motor conked out, MY motor conked out right along with you. That was real acting! REAL ACTING!

Lucy: Just remember: they made John Wayne start out as an extra.

Craig: What does she mean by that?

Kim: We may never know.

:gale1: Lucille, I don't think --

:lucy2: No, you sure don't! That's why we don't have tickets to the television show!

Let's revive this game! For newcomers who hadn't participated in the Original Sock It To Me! game before the orginal Lounge had a stroke in 2010, the premise is simple. Keep the back and forth of quotes from various Lucy series going. They don't necessarily have to be from the same episode, series, or even related. The only proviso is that (at least) one word from the previous quote needs to be contained in the new one.

So, building on my quote above, let's pick the simple "you":

Liz Cooper: That's what you told yourself, huh? You must be hard of hearing.

(Go!)

Wow, I was just thinking last night how great it would be to revive this game.

Lucy: Do we have to do anything to prepare?

Mary Jane: No, as Dr. Henderson says, "Just come and bring your brain."

Harry: I'm set. As for you, Lucille, I suggest Sam's Rent-a-Brain.

Bob LeMond: Jell-O Puddings are easy too, and only take about 5 minutes to prepare.

(are sponsor commercials within the episode okay?)
