C L A U D E
I have a feeling your granddaughter's grandchildren will still get hooked on this television phenomenon.
leenorman
She said to me LAST YEAR, 'Nema, I'll be your age before I get to read your book!' Gotta get it away from me; it's more of like an extra heart; but, DID want to get this year's LucyFest and the 5K guest in . . . SO; no more procrastinating! C L A U D E
Oh, seems procrastinating is yet another thing you and I have in common. Did you settle on a title yet? And where did the name NEMA come from? I just heard that for the first time on Big Bang Theory.

And where did the name NEMA come from? I just heard that for the first time on Big Bang Theory. I believe 'Looking back' is good enough. As for Lakin, she named me 'nema'; and that's the way it was going to be; don't think i've EVER heard it anywhere. Even my husband started calling me that, and several of our 'close' friends. C L A U D E
Well, it's a pretty common SPRESSION from what I hear on Big Bang Theory. Looking Back huh? Hummmmmmmmmmmmm.

HarryCarter
Mrs. X has a serious eyebrow situation going on in that photo. LOL! It's surprisingly rare to see wardrobe tests for Lucy like this. The only other one I can remember seeing is for The Dark Corner, which was her only other 20th Century Fox picture. leenorman
Joyce, just thought it would have something to do with days or years, that's all. It is, love, 'looking back' over each of those you just mentioned.... always open to suggestions, though; still hasn't gone to publisher; but, I'm 'pushing' it as fast as I can. Only so many hours a day I can sit at computer.
C L A U D E
No, after thinking about it, I realized it IS a great title, you were right. Congratulations again, on all the work, all the years and seeing it all through, it was difficult but will be well worth it. You should be very proud, most people, like me, only THINK of doing something great like that, you actually DID it.
leenorman
It's become a serious addiction; wonder how long withdrawal will take when it's over!!!! I KNOW I don't have 10 years left!!!! Sob, Sob.... Going to hell as an addict! Wonder who I'll know there?
C L A U D E
There is no HELL, life on earth is hell, you will go to heaven and I can just see you know when you first meet Lucy and as Lucy tells you story after story, you will constantly be interrupting her with that eternal question of yours, "AND WHEN WAS THAT HONEY, WHAT WAS THE DATE, ARE YOU SURE OF THE DATE?" LOL!

C L A U D E
Jeez, I wonder who designed that masterpiece, Lucy looked heavenly and angelic in that incredible wedding gown.
Luvsbway
That's the Forever Darling dress so Eloise did that one. I always liked the LLT better but she looks great in this pic.
C L A U D E
I swear to God, she made more beautiful brides on screen than in real life.
JoeySanJoaquin
Don't like the headgear...she reminds me of Sister Bertrille about to take flight!
C L A U D E
True, the headgear's a bit much, over the top, but it frames her face so beautifully and the mark of a good dress is you should see the person before you see the dress and in this get up, Lucy has to work real hard to look her best, facially. Luvsbway
I don't like not seeing her hair. That is what bugs me.
C L A U D E
Honey, how many times have I complained about those stupid head things in Mame, Lucy was as famous for her hair as well as her bow lips, big blue eyes, dimples and even eye lashes, they were all part of that famous Lucy LOOK".
