Had to read it three times before it "clicked"!  Sort of a "turn right here left" situation!  Thanks! :HALKING:

The Post Journal, Jamestown NY, Editorial Page -Success Is Easy To Overlook

"Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce President, Exec. Director, Todd Tranum made it clear our area needs an attitude adjustment.  Instead of negatively reacting to potential economic development, whether it be National Comedy Center, Jamestown, or other development, Jamestown residents need to believe it will happen.

Lifelong WNYers, with good reason, are sometimes far too negative about the potential of the waterfront and future initiatives.  The last five years, Buffalo has turned the corner.  It's time we do, as well.

Tranum's comments were a small part of what is otherwise a celebration of Chautauqua County. The annual event highlights worthy area volunteers and major economic contributors.  This year's economic honorees include expanded, added jobs; and growing.

Success is easy to overlook.  We do it far too often in society nowadays.  The annual Chamber banquet continues a special tradition of highlighting those who make the county great.  If you look around; and in the mirror; you will see a lot of those individuals;" published, 2017.

The Post-Journal, Jamestown, NY, Bidder For Sheldon House To Try Again, Dennis Phillips, "One of the bidders, private citizen, says he will try again.  He say he 'most certainly' will bid again when he has a chance. Since January 2016, JCC (owner, property) approval  purchase of Lynn; May 2016, city Zoning Board approved Lynn Development purchase for corporate offices;  3 local residents appealed use variance to state Supreme Court, which upheld Zoning Board approval sale; August 2016, residents appealed decision to Appellate Division 4th Judicial Dept., Supreme Court, which overturned last week.  Original resident offered $200,000; Lynn offered $240,000;" published, 2017.

November 1, 2017:

The Post-Journal, Jamestown, NY, Patience Pays Off For New Owner of Sheldon House, by Dennis Phillips, "November 2015, JCC 1st put house on market, Edward Signorile, NYC native and businessman,  saw listing online; but, before he could show interest, it was taken off market.  January, 2016, JCC began process of accepting $240,000 offer from Lynn Development for its corporate offices [ultimately, Zoning and Court efforts prevented such sale: June 2017] During court process, Signorile couldn't stop thinking about purchase of Sheldon House; spending year and a half and speaking with realtors and in meantime, bought a Church in Salamanca, NY (30 miles Jamestown east), which is now for sale with this purchase.Three weeks ago he learned much about the SH.  Quality repairs had been made by JCC; but, maintenance during past 2 years had gone wanting.  SH had been heated during legal battle. Plumbers, roofers, electricians have already begun work. He purchased SH with furnishings; and has discovered 'little treasures' within.  JCC also gave him history of house and past renovations information was available; since he would like to keep the facility as authentic as he can. He estimates about a year for renovations of 5400 sq. ft. main house.  Included are exterior buildings, which expand the property to about 9400 sq. ft.  The price of $240,000 is what he paid.  He plans to spend warmer months here in Jamestown.  His business partner is from the Steamburg area [off I-86, near Salamanca] and his mother lives in Sinclairville (Chau. Co.) [article shortened; complete article at www.post-journal.com]; published, 2017.

$240k including furnishings seems so cheap for such a beautiful and large house.

Guy got a bargain - he's apparently happy;  OF COURSE, renovations, up to a year in the making, could easily up the price; I'll keep you posted on any published updates.  :D
