vivfantoo*
I'm still giddy with the news that Season 3 of The Lucy Show is coming out in a few months, complete with more bonus features. I've also found a few interviews online (mostly through this site) that Lucy did over the years & it made me wonder -- is there one place where all of these are stored? I think it's too much to hope for that they are available on a dvd, but wouldn't that be "Wunnerful, wunnerful!"? Maybe Lucie & Desi have copies of these? I'm assuming that Lucy had copies of everything she ever did, considering her penchant for keeping track of her family through scrapbooking. With her 100th birthday celebration next year, it would be the icing on the cake to have a DVD of all of her interviews. There are so many knowledgable fans here -- any chance that something like this exists or could exist in the future? Any plans in the works? I know I would buy it!! HarryCarter
Lucie donated copies of a majority of Lucy's interviews to the Paley Center for Media (formerly the Museum of Television & Radio) a few years ago, so they could be preserved and viewed by the public. C L A U D E
Many of her BEST interviews an be found on You Tube of course, type in Lucille Ball in any search and then go to IMAGES for pictures and VIDEOS for some of her classic clips and many of her interviews like the Cavett and Griffin and Donahue ones. vivfantoo*
Thanks so much for this info, Harry & Claude! Guess what I'll be searching for & watching in my spare time over the next few weeks? It is always such a treat to find interviews with Lucy that I have never seen before.
