British actor Richard Johnson, dead at 87.

Apparently he had been offered the 007 James Bond role but refused it so they went with Connery instead.  He also portrayed fictional detective Bulldog Drummond in two much later movies.  Funny how TCM is showing those now, leaves a wife and kids but at least he lived a nice long and full life.

OMG - loved him when I was very young!!!!  What a wonderful actor for that part made famous by Connery (who was the best one of them all - in my view). - Thanks for the heads up on his death - sad news; but, a great life.

Poor Rue Mcclanahan of the Golden Girls has passed away, again.  Seems it was posted somewhere that she had died and someone saw it and reposted it where it went viral, but that person neglected to see that she had died five years ago, on June 3rd 2010, but treated it as news that had just happened and they did not know about.
