When he and Natalie got back together and had a child (plus two: one each from their respective marriages), they hired a nurse Willie Mae WORTHEN. Is that OUR Willie Mae? I don't know that I ever knew her last name. Bob says that she lives with them to this day! I wonder if Lucie and Desi keep in touch.... Her getting employment at the Wagner's would follow the time line of Lucy no longer needing her services for the kids. Didn't Desi reference her in an ILl episode? In an interview from the mid-70s, Lucy mentioned that the "woman who raised Desi Jr." was working for him in his own house. I assume it was Willie Mae. Willie Mae died shortly after Lucy did and the family was still close to her. Willie Mae's name was mentioned in The Amateur Hour as a girl who could play the guitar with her feet.
