Happy Birthday, Carole Cook!

Not since barely-known Lucille Ball registered Communist in 1936 to appease her socialist grandfather has one of our own got into this much political hot water.

I'm loving the headlines "BROADWAY STAR criticized....etc."  Even Mick Huckabee has weighed in!  I hope Carole gets some talk show exposure.  She's still sharp as a tack.

Carole certainly doesn't belong lumped in with the rest of the nasty and disrespectful people out there who preach about politics and social issues willy nilly despite lacking even a modicum of credibility. Anyone who knows her (and aren't we lucky to know her!) is aware that the remark is just in line with her sharp, cutting sense of humor.

I'm one of probably dozens of people who are proud to say "I'm good friends with Carole and (husband) Tom".

She's still sharp as a tack and, other than some aches and pains, has not aged at all.  She looks a full 30 years younger (and a good-looking 65 at that).

Thanks for this find! So it looks like Mason's made progress on his doc:  Woohoo! I was on hand at one of Carole's shows when I still lived in Palm Springs where Laura introduced Frank Gorey to Mason and a quick interview was done for this project, which hopefully gets completed soon.  Been anxious to see it for years.  This lovely clip gets me excited to see it! :HALKING:
