Oscar Winners and Nominees the guested

Recommended Posts

Miss Ann Sothern!

Although it did not seem like an Oscar-worthy performance, I'm glad she got a nomination for "Whales of August". Unfortunately for Ann, it did not lead to any further movie roles.

which I wrote last night before forgot to hit post, so it was BEFORE that other person's post, so NYAAAH

It's a list of Lucy's television guest stars that either won or were nominated for an Oscar.

Thanks, Brock.... just wanted to mention, this morning, for the first time, I have lost the ability to use the 'edit' option(s): i.e. font, size, bold, italic, etc.????

Sorry ...that was a typo. Yes, it should have been "that guested".

This one's a stretch: DINAH SHORE.

She had a hit single with the Oscar winning song of 1950: "Buttons and Bows".

Larry Tate's wife's name was Louise. Two actresses played her: Irene Vernon and Kasey Rogers. Kasey Rogers appeared in three Lucy Show episodes.

Oh yeah, Kasey was Phil Harris` love interest in that dramady episode, i think she was even on Peyton Place which is where i knew her from. Just curious, what were the other two eps.
