Neil Posted February 1, 2014 Report Share Posted February 1, 2014 1.09 - Mooney's Three Sons Still reeling over their separation, Mr. Mooney sends Bob, Ted and Arnold back east to try and persuade their mother to come back and be a family again. Although she puts on a big act in front of the boys that she and Enid are very happy together, privately she finally confesses to Viv that it was all a charade in order to get old Theodore to pay more attention to her and stop making mean-spirited cracks about her height and (lack of) hair to his gossipy secretary. Enid overhears, and in a jealous rage swipes some of Ted's mushrooms and laces dinner with them. Soon everyone's on a wild trip, which ends with Mrs. Mooney, convinced she's Tinkerbell, trying to fly back to California by jumping off Vern and Viv's roof. Enid is arrested once a sobered up Viv realizes what happened, but not before she manages to give Irma a bounce in the breadbasket. LOVE it....especially the Tinkerbell & breadbasket references.
