Lucy Movie Photos

What I remember about Woman of Distinction.  She's getting off a plane (as actress Lucille Ball) and is asked by somebody  if what he has heard is true

"Is Los Angeles so warm that you all sleep under one blanket?"

Lucy's one line: "How silly! How could we all fit under ONE blanket??" then says a quick good-bye.

I'm trying to come up with a list of when she played Lucille Ball, the actress on film----not variety show guest shots:

Best Foot Forward

Abbott and Costello in Holllywood

Woman of Distinction

Westinghouse Promo Film (not broadcast)

Desilu Revue

Lucille Ball Special - 1964 "Mr. and Mrs." with Bob Hope

Lucy Meets Lucille Ball-Here's Lucy

Lucy Moves to NBC

and the unproduced "Lucy Goes to Broadway"

I think there's more..

How do we find these babies????  HARRY????  Anyone?

Lucy also plays herself in Thousands Cheer. And since the conceit of Ziegfeld Follies is that it's current stars taking part in the Follies, she would be playing "Lucille Ball playing Lucille Ball playing Whip Cracking Showgirl." Since Lucy was in the opening segment, she did not get an onscreen title card with her name prior to her appearance like everyone else.

On TV, Lucy played herself on The Mary Tyler Moore Hour.

Wow! This is one of the small handful of films I have not seen. I've never even seen an image of Lucy in it before. For years this wasn't even in her list of credits.

I had to see if this was even in the Lucy movie book. It is. Apparently it was the last of her Columbia films.
