In that first one, that's a lot of hair and it looks like her own too. The one in that beautiful black dress makes her look luscious.

That is definitely her hair in that photo!

Oh i know, same as the way she had it on that Hope special where she sang Happy Birthday, in that Blue outfit, (she did it twice), you can't make a wig like that.

And apparently it is taffeta. For swimming?

Well, it IS just for show, not for doing an Esther Williams number.  Wasn't Taffeta the daughter on Bewitched?

Get that Dinah! 75 episode on the Here's Lucy 6th season set. First time I ever heard her speak. She had a much higher voice than I imagined. I want to see all her talk show appearances. We here so much about how she was a no BS woman I need to hear her talk more.

If that was WANDA back there, she has let herself go bad; and I've not seen her for nearly 10 years! 

But Rick just said, it is NOT her.  Now there's someone i'd buy any book she wrote on Lucy.

Arrduba once asked me what my favorite thing I'd done so far (into it about 4 years by then, in every capacity except CEO and assistant) and it was an easy answer:

 

'Chauffeuring the chauffeur, of course,' (that story, very short:  was to carry the 'guests'  luggage in my vehicle to the Buffalo airport - we had us a convoy!!! - 90 miles - it was loaded; and there came a knock at passenger door - it was Frank - 'I guess I'll ride with you . . . okay?') - 

 

Are you kidding???????!!!!!!!@@@@@@  One of my better fun times at the Museum et al!!!!!!
