There was this period where she wore slacks more than anything else. And the frilly top was to cover neck wrinkles of course. Much better than that bib she wore on the Forever Darling promo tour. One it was more common by the 80s and 2 she was a pants wearing from her early childhood days. True, and all modern women wore them too, from Hepburn and Dietrich, Garbo and so on . . . although Lucy carried it over into her private life as much or more than any of them did.
