TCM GREATEST CLASSIC LEGENDS FILM COLLECTION: MAUREEN OHARA

THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (1939)

With huge sets and rousing action scenes, this film remains one of Hollywoods all-time grandest spectacles. Charles Laughton is Quasimodo, the mocked and vilified bell ringer of Notre Dame. Maureen OHara is the gypsy Esmeralda, whose simple act of pity frees the emotions within him.

DANCE, GIRL, DANCE (1940)

Bubbles (Lucille Ball) loves to dance. She also likes to eat. Her friend Judy (OHara) may choose to suffer for her art, but not Bubbles. She swaps ballet shoes for a G-string, turning fantasies into dollars as a burlesque sensation in a film embraced for its feminist sensibilities and powerful storytelling.

THE SPANISH MAIN (1945)

In this lavish swashbuckler, Capt. Laurent Van Horn (Paul Henreid) is wrongly imprisoned and sentenced to hang for trespassing. Van Horn stages a breakout, resurfacing as the rakish Barracuda to command the pirate waterways, rescue fair Francesca (OHara) and avenge the wrongs done to him.

THE WINGS OF EAGLES (1957)

John Wayne plays Commander Frank Spig Wead, a pioneer aviator, renowned screenwriter and man of war, in this compassionate biography. John Ford directs from a screenplay by Frank Fenton and William Wister Haines, while Ward Bond, OHara and Dan Dailey costar.

Yeah and i never really cared for it, so i'll pass too, since we already have it in the Lucy movies collection.  Love Maureen but don't care for those old old very old costume pictures.
