Will Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 I know Lucy won 4 (I don't like the fifth was after she died I doubt if she live that year she would win) and nominated 13 times but was it usual for the Academy to hold a banquet for a star like when naming her First Lady of Television in 1969? Also to give a special award on a talk show like Lucy got on Merv Griffin in 1973? To give a special certificate like she got in 1981? What do you know?
