C L A U D E
Once time a co-worker of my husband's came up to him at work and asked if I had seen this movie about a big, big trailer that had Lucy in in. So now I have The Long, Long Trailer sitting on the Tivo from this weekend (even though I have it on DVD and have seen it dozens of times). For the past couple of days all Charlie keeps singing is Big Big Trailer, to the tune of the Sanford and Sons theme song. LOL!
C L A U D E
I watched "Panama Lady" last weekend. Kind of a weird movie, but I thought Lucy looked gorgeous in it. I have yet to watch the 2 Annabel movies that I Tivo'd too. The Annabel movies are much better.

Be nice in honor of her 100th/ILL's 60th if all these titles finally found their way to DVD!

Lucyilove
I just watched YOURS MINE AND OURS for the first time in years. Lucy is so good in this one, fantastic drunk scene in her only slightly Lucyesque moment and of course she more than proves she could still act "not as Lucy" for the rest of the film. This is one of the best films of her career. Henry Fonda is terrific, too, and wow what a gorgeous young hunk Tim Matheson was at 20! (And at 30 and at 40 and at 50 and today at 60-something). Little Eric Shea is the standout among the younger kids (loved his confrontations with the nun, and Lucy's too!)though of course it's the biggest role of the kids (some of whom have little more than bit parts). A few weeks ago, one of my students ran into class and was so excited to tell me that she saw a "really really so funny" movie called Yours, Mine, and Ours (and she made a point to tell me it WASN'T the crappy Dennis Quaid one). She talked to me about it for almost five minutes, and told me the "lady with the crazy hair" is hilarious and the best part of the movie. LOL. Naturally, I told her she has excellent taste! I watched The Fuller Brush Girl last week. One of my very favorites!

That is a STAR in that number, so great I know, my fave part is when she's about to come down the two steps and the guys go there to escort her and the Mame number gets to it's climax, after watching that i get my own climax.
