*TV Trivia Time: Miss Jones also appeared in the pilot shot for Seinfeld pal/comedian/now host of The Marriage Ref's Tom Papa's short-lived sitcom Come to Papa (NBC 2004) as his mom, alongside another TV veteran, Hal Linden (Barney Miller) as Papa's father.

When the pilot sold to series, their parts were recast with Mimi Kennedy (Dharma & Greg) and Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years). :(

Last laugh: it only ran FOUR episodes! lucythrill.JPG

The O'Neals? Really? We're counting "reality" (cough, cough) show dreck? Well...it probably was scripted, so I guess I've got to go with it. Yuk.

Not only that but as impressive as their lists ARE, they did list a whole load of supporting Oscar winners and supporting players on shows, i only wanted the BIG names. Ok now you can do BIG STARS who were nominated for Oscars but did not win like Barbara Stanwick . . . . but later got TV shows to keep their careers going.

Well, if you want to get technical, Henry Fonda, Cher, and Shirley MacLaine all won their Oscars after their television series ended, so they wouldn't be correct answers to Claude's original question. ;)

There ya go, LOL! The expert on everything chimes in, LOL! But those lists you and others came up with were terrific though, had no idea there were that many, LOL!
