She has been in and out of the hospital for the past couple of months after breaking her hip and subsequently having hip replacement surgery. For her to keep going in and out of the hospital (whether conscious or not) should be enough already. Forget who she is for a minute (and her husband, despite all of his shenanigans)...this is still a woman fighting for her life and Frederic must be beside himself, doing everything he can. We are all so fragile when we come in and out of this world that it made me pause for a second and reflect. Oh wow, she certainly would NOT be happy with that shot getting out. I was even more stunned by the news that her hubby wants her to get that plasti whatever process as she always wanted to be preserved, you know like that show that tours the world with REAL bodies enhanced for effect, can you imagine? You know that German show that travels around the world where they preserved these bodies and you see all the skin treated with something and there's this process that's done to the body and it's preserved forever and Prince von nutsalot wants to do that to Zsa Zsa it aws reported on some entertainment site. I also just read that Francesca is not pleased with the treatment her mom is getting from prince nutjob and her caregivers. He apparently tips of the media about her police escorted motorcade from the hospital and the paps were hitting the ambulance to get reaction shots from her and she seemed scared, even terrified at what was happening as she lay there alone in the back of the ambulance. Surely I'd NOT want that much heroism if I couldn't function, talk, walk, eat, etc.! Doctors have to save lives. But then you wonder the QUALITY of the life. I heard Prince Zsa Zsa glued his eyeball shut recently--thinking it was a vial of eyedrops. I think he needs some supervision, too. Pun intended. She had her hip replaced, but I never read about a previous amputation. Must have been her I was thinking of rather than Zsa Zsa, though a photo of Zsa Zsa taken in the last year or so in a wheelchair it looked like she was missing a leg !!! Yes...it was Martha Raye in her late years, as horrible as it is to write that. She suffered from Alzheimer's disease and had lost both legs in 1993 due to circulatory problems. She died in October 1994. She was not alone in this horrid transition. The amazing Ella Fitzgerald already visually impaired by the effects of diabetes, had both her legs amputated in 1993 and passed away in 1996. The latest news on ZZG, per the LA Times: "Doctors treating Hollywood legend Zsa Zsa Gabor gave the actress a massive dose of antibiotics Monday in an effort to avoid a risky amputation of her infected lower leg, her publicist said. Gabor, 93, went through the first phase of the two-day treatment, but its effectiveness on a serious infection that threatens to become gangrenous wouldn't be known until the second dose was administered, said John Blanchette."
