C L A U D E
I actually agree with APART from the homesick episode, I really adore that episode. I don't know why so many people are against the European episodes, I think they are all very strong! So do I, i think she should switch her alliegence to another series actually, LOL! Mot Morenzi
Okay... These are my least favorite episodes of I Love Lucy... Drafted Lucy Writes a Play New Neighbors The Marriage License Mertz an Kurtz Lucy Goes to a Rodeo Lucy Goes to Scotland Lucy Gets Homesick in Italy Lucy Meets Orson Wells The Ricardos Dedicate a Statue These are the episodes that I could care less if I ever see again... all the others I could watch again an definately some I could watch over and over without a problem!!! I don't have every episode of The Lucy Show or Here's Lucy yet.. four of The Lucy Show and three of Here's Lucy. .so I really can't give my HONEST rundown of my least favorite of those 2 series at this point!! Now I will tell you why I don't care for these episodes... Drafted... Stupid!!! Hate the way Lucy an Viv cry..not funny.. ! Lucy Writes a Play.. Dumb... can't get into the episode at all.. very PHONY! The Marriage License... I don't believe Lucy Ricardo is that dumb either! Mertz and Kurtz.. I can't stand the "show" for his little grandson.. So LOUSY!!! Lucy Goes to a Rodeo... The Rodeo show from Cowboy Pete to Mill Stream is DREADFUL! Lucy Gets...Italy.. Please shoot me.. I can't stant one minute of it! Lucy Meets Orson... What a waste of TALENT... What am I missing?? It stinks!!! The Ricardos Dedicate... I've said it before.. okay until she backs over the statue! When I have the other episodes of the other seasons... I wil tell you the ones I truely don't care for.. Thankx fellas for being honest about these Lucy episodes!!!! I hear you on most of your selections. I've actually never minded Lucy Writes a Play; it's hardly a standout, but I occasionally like it. The Marriage License is no winner, either. It's a combination of two My Favorite Husband episodes, The Marriage License (a good one) and Anniversary (not so good one).

Didn't know 2 scripts combined into one I Love Lucy episode! I learn sooo much on this website! Oh, me too! I learn so much here as well. And I love listening for MFH lines that make it into I Love Lucy, not necessarily into an episode inspired by it. For instance, Lucy's conversation about speaking French/I have 8 servants from "Lucy is Envious" was lifted from "Liz Stretches the Truth", though the rest of that MFH episode is more reminiscent of "Lucy Tells the Truth" than "Lucy is Envious". Mot Morenzi
The Fox Hunt is another episode that I didn't care for much, which goes along with my opinion that most of the European shows, however flashy they may look, are inferior in quality. Well, dontchatin the writers had this great premise so they sloughed off on the comedy therein?

Mot Morenzi
Just rewatched The Adagio because I really couldn't remember it. After watching it I realize I must've blocked it out. AWFUL! I'll be honest: I don't understand the dislike for "Drafted", I think it's a very fun episode. It's horrible. Lucy acted so dumb in this episode. Not to mention that a scene in this episode is more or less a remake of a classic scene found in the I Love Lucy episode, "Lucy Gets In Pictures". It was poorly done. Even having a famous guest star in it couldn't make it worthwhile. It was THAT bad.

chedderchester
What was so bad about Mod Mod Lucy? I LOVE the big dance number at the end. But I am surprised nobody could immediately tell it was a woman in her 50s in a brunette wig. And TLS Lucy in the Music World was epic! As well as the Music Lover from season 1. I pretty much agree with all your ILL eps, but I would have to add Oil Wells to season 3. Don't understand why nobody likes the Adagio. Lucy doing the Apache with herself at the beginning was epic. As well as them saying Jean Veljean Raymond (ohn!) TLS I agree with too, but I would have to put Restaurant in season 2 instead of Fire at the Bank, and Superwoman in season 4, instead of Lucy and the Soap Opera. That one was great. So was the fire one. And the restaurant one is super boring. And the superwoman one was ridiculous. And I hate the Professor one from HL s5. I like the plot but I would like it way better if John Davidson wasn't in it. ugh. I hate that guy. Otherwise I guess I agree with all your HL eps too, except Jim Bailey. It would've been great if the REAL Phyllis Diller was sitting in the audience, playing some random woman. And I laughed at how you put "Lucy and THE Robert Goulet." Mmadluv7
I don't get why it is so diliked.... I thought it was nice, but i think the production costs were to blame. Had there had been a larger set to work with, there may have been more to do between the two.
Mmadluv7
Synopsis Wise: Lucy Goes to Monte Carlo is the weakest of all to me. It has a lot of dialogue but is predictable and kind of unbelievable. Then, to have Lucy lose all of it just as Ricky walks in? its a bit much lol Plus, the hotel is ugly, the casino is ugly, lol the only thing pretty about this, is the costumes. The whole scene with Fred and Ethel is kinda nice though.
