It's about time! I was wondering if TV Land was ever going to air this program.

 

Now Hallmark Channel and TV Land will be airing BOTH "I Love Lucy" and "The Golden Girls".

 

And it's ironic ... that two former TV Land shows (now on Hallmark Channel), "The Brady Bunch" and "Happy Days" will be competing against "The Golden Girls".

 

This year is shaping up to be one of the best for classic tv on televison (despite that it seems TV Land is phasing out the 50s-70s era).

TVLand probably decided since they have Betty White & Hot In Cleveland, they should have The Golden Girls, also! We can start calling it BettyLand!

Not yet ... in order for the channel to be called that, they need to acquire the OTHER long-running shows that Betty White was in such as The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Mama's Family.

 

I guess TV Land was waiting for WE-TV to relinquish the rights to The Golden Girls.

As much as I like "The Golden Girls" since they are already on Hallmark what is the use of getting the same show for TVLand. Can't they find another show that isn't on another television station like "Here's Lucy"?
