C L A U D E
Perfectly stated. Everything was there for a great Lucy episode. Lucy getting her way into the show, a main plot of Lucy that works great every time. But like you said something is missing. Yeah, a socko funny ending! ILL: The Operetta LDCH: Lucy Wants A Career TLS: No More Double Dates HL: With Viv As A Friend, Who Needs An Enemy LWL: Lucy, Leagle Beagle "No More Double Dates," what an under-appreciated gem. Back when the shows routinely started with a logical premise with which people could relate -- so the zany things that happened later were funny and not stupid. "Lucy Wants a Career," the last really top-drawer Ricardo-Mertz adventure. "With Viv as a Friend ...," what a special episode all around!!
