Mmadluv7
Not by a "fan", but here is a caricature of Lucy as Mame from a 1974 issue of New York Magazine: I think it's okay- I'm not too sure what they were looking to say with it. Mame never looked shabby or bad, and never had a black eye. None of the publicity for Mame had that in any pictures so I wonder if it was only for a particular article that this picture was depicting. It's so unique, an though it doesn't resemble the Lucy image, it's a great piece of The "Lucy" characters! It takes SERIOUS skill and talent to produce something like this. Brock
Lamarr, can you post the full version of your Lucy Writes A Novel caricature? Judging by the very small version in your signature banner alone I think it is destined to be one of my new all-time favourites of yours! I love the detailing in your sketch for The Courtroom. I imagine the black eye and the messed up hair are supposed to reflect the film's critical mauling.

Mister Hepburn
I bought this during the Birthday Celebration in '03 at the auction on Saturday afternoon. It's painted by Gary Peters who painted the three large Lucy murals in downtown Jamestown. I can take some better shots (hopefully without any glare) and close-ups if anyone is interested. Also, anyone know if Mr. Peters is still painting Lucy?
