HarryCarter
Paley Center ever consider putting out a DVD of just Lucille interviews on talk shows, Harry? Do you have exact dates: Mo/Da/to go with the years; I don't know if I have some of them; would love to add them to the chronology....thanks if you can supply. Loving you, JK The Paley Center does not own the rights to the programs in the collection, so they cannot release them on DVD. Dates for some of the shows mentioned: The Eamon Andrews Show: May 22, 1966 The Jack Paar Tonight Show with Vivian: January 26, 1961 The Jack Paar Tonight Show with Lucie and Desi Jr.: December 29, 1960 The Garry Moore Show: September 27, 1960

C L A U D E
TCM really seems to be treating Lucy very well lately, wonder if Robert Osborne being there has anything to do with it?
C L A U D E
Brock's favorite DANCE, GIRL, DANCE, airs again tonight on Turner Classic Movies from 8 to 10. FreddieMertz
Big Street is a little boring, but lucy should have won an oscar for it!
C L A U D E
Probably studio politics ruined her chances, the wife of their biggest producer at RKO had a bone to pick with Lucy, as her husband's bone had picked at Lucy too many times. C L A U D E
I know Brockie, you'll never make me like Dance Girl Dance and i'll never be able to get YOU to like Big Street. The ONLY thing I like about it is Lucy's incredible performance.

C L A U D E
Oh great, haven't seen that one in a while. Lucy looked lovely in it and the whole thing looked so much more sophisticated for her than her usual work. If only they had given more comedy to Lucy instead of Hope.
