Where was the Phyllis Diller pic? I just did a search and can't come up with it. Would love to see it. :lucyhorror:

I know, i thought of you the minute i saw it knowing you are a big fan of hers. I think it's on the Greg in Hollywood site, scroll down for a day or two as i think i saw it yesterday.

Not coming up with anything at all.

Ok, you go to Greg in Holywood all right BUT then you go to one of the sites listed as Greg Reads It, it's called Boy Culture, scroll down all the way to alsmot the bottom of page 1 and there's Phyl in a swimsuit at 94. Don't eat BEFORE you look at the pic, LOL! Her face still looks great though and even her body for ninety four, LOL!

Ah, so she needs a few more daisies to cover her "bad spots"! Okay, make that a full bouquet! She's home in her backyard having a swim and probably took the shot on a lark (or maybe a bet!). Rock on, Phyllis! professor.JPG

A F E W more? I think even a float in the Tournament of Roses parade couldn't help her at this point. LOL! All of a sudden, Cloris Leachman nude covered with some fruit a few years back looks a lot better.

Well, I guess that's true, after all, PD's about a decade older than "Phyllis"! :D

Yes, true, but even Lucy Carter's Chinese Laundry couldn't iron the ugly old prune out of her, LOL! And Phyl would be the first to admit that, God love her! I still admire her spunk in posing though!

Okay, I just clicked on the Phyllis pic and it wasn't as bad as I braced myself for after all your comments. LOL I was expecting a picture not unlike a Swamp Monster or something. LOL Sure, it looks like someone let the air out, but the woman is less than six years away from hitting the big 1-0-0!

Oh i know, i was only going for some Diller type jokes, Phyllis started out in her career making fun of her appearance, now she REALLY has material for that part of her act, LOL! And the BIGGER you see that pic, the more horrible it gets, LOL! But like Joey said, at least she's standing upright, my 95 year old friend Marcelle was all stooped over and fragile at the end. But she too still swam, but at her kids' homes, not for everyone to see, and barf, LOL!

Well what I was alluding to there was for her 90th she had planned to come out of retirement long enough to make a big appearance on Leno and do a few minutes of her act, etc. and was all excited to do it and then she slipped or fell or something, hurt her back and was out of commission for awhile and unfortunately, didn't get to make the appearance. :(

Thankfully, she's not only still with us but apparently still sharp as a tack and still shuffling around her Brentwood estate.

Wonder if she's ever had Roseanne back for more spaghetti?? ;)

It was more serious than hurting her back before her Leno appearance. Didn't she break her neck? :obrien:

She's never forgiven herself from sprinking ground up viagra in Fang's metamucil.

I don't know, although I know someone in the know, you know? that you know, you know, so ...you know, we should know if they know so maybe we can be in the know too...you know? ;)

Well, that's a sacrilege then, if she's still able to get around, she should treat us to her revised and updated ACT on some talk shows, maybe even a comedy special for HBO, but filmed with high regard to her age and stamina. If Totie Fields could do one half dead at the end, so could Phyl, at least she would attack herself and not others like Torie did. I love it when these OLDER legends still work, look at Art Linkletter and now Phyllis Diller, still sharp as ever.

I believe Phyllis broke her neck several years earlier, falling out of bed (like Zsa Zsa). I think it was her back she hurt a few days before her 90th birthday. She might have done more damage to her neck, though.

Well, considering all that, she looks ok for her age. At least she can still GET AROUND, it's when they go to the wheelchair or get bedridden that they lose it fast.
