From his newsletter: Upcoming Guests August 28 - A rebroadcast of the January 23, 2008 program featuring "I Love Lucy" film editor DANN CAHN, who died last November at the age of 89. Dann revolutionized post production in the TV sitcom industry by cutting the classic program on the Desilu "monster", a three-headed film-editing device created specifically for the multi-camera method of shooting. Dann talks about getting into the business first as a bit player in movies and then following his dad's footsteps behind the cameras...and of course, a generous amount of time is spent describing the ten years he worked for Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. There will be new segments at both the start and conclusion of the broadcast with Dann's son DANNY CAHN JR., who will reflect on the stories his dad told, as well as his own memories growing up and following in his dad's (and his grandfather's) footsteps as a film and tape editor.
