Daniel Posted August 31, 2010 Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 I watched The Operetta this morning for the first time in a little while, and I noticed something odd for the first time. I'd imagine that everyone else has noticed it, but I thought I'd bring it to the foreground just to see who had already caught it! Just as The Gypsy Queen is telling Lily about her vision, and Lancealot is on his way, the Peasant Girls move the side. Well, when the Trumpeters come out from behind the Inn, one of the women is a Pleasant Peasant! She is actually missing from the group, and for some reason I had never noticed; normally I catch things like that pretty fast, but not this one! I wonder what the reasoning behind this was? Could the person who was to be playing the part have come down ill, and so they had one of the other women play the part? Just something fun to think about!
