Can The Great American Soup be the alternate week sponsors? I'd hate to let any opportunity for Ann to dance on a soup can slip through our fingers. JoeySanJoaquin
I love that the sheriff is Hermes Pan.... “In Palm Springs” The girls decide to get away from their annoying spouses, but in Palm Springs, their individual habits get on each other’s nerves: Julie’s “sickening sweetness”, Lucy’s bluntly brayed observations and Judy’s Ritalin-driven nervousness resulting in her jingling pill bottles in her pocket. Judy:”So I jingle my pills a little..” Lucy: “A little? For 25 years I’ve felt like I’ve been friends with the Good Humor Pharmacist!” Meanwhile Judy discovers her spouse Mark Heron in the bungalow next door with Rock Hudson. THIS IS HILARIOUS Neil, from " Lucy’s bluntly brayed observations" to the Mark Heron/Hudson reference!! Bravo!!
Neil
“Lucy and Julie, The Shopping Experts” After the girls send Judy to the Piggly Wiggly for groceries, Judy falls for Ann’s sales pitch and comes home with a trunk full of sauerkraut. So Julie and Lucy take Judy back to the P-W to teach her the ins-and-outs of marketing. Julie tries to keep order but Lucy and Judy’s melon-pyramid destroying antics jeopardize Ann’s hours so much so that her hair stands on end (although her hairdo does not change).
Neil
“Lucy Teaches Julie Andrews to Sing” Julie is all set to recreate her Oscar-winning role in a “Mary Poppins” concert presentation when her polyps flare up again. Desperate, she seeks help from Lucy who runs her through the Professor Gitterman vocal exercises but chewing her tongue and humming only seems to make things worse. With a half-hour to go until concert time, she pleads with Judy to ghost-sing for her backstage. However when Julie opens her mouth onstage and the singing voice that comes out is that of the unmusical Miss Ball, her face contorts like she just swallowed a spoonful of sh……well, not SUGAR, Meanwhile a bound and gagged Judy tries to cut the ties that bind her in the broom closet. Heckles Ann from the audience “Sweetie, ya sound mahr like Victor than Victoria”.

Brock
Inspired from the films... The Ultimate Solution of Miss Quigley After being diagnosed as terminally annoying, Harry's former temporary secretary decides it's time to (legally) end it all. Becoming an advocate for ending one's own life, she leads a campaign to legalize the matter in California. Ultimately unsuccessful, she heads back to Barter's Unique Employment Agency to hire a hit man that would take care of her and her cousin Sue-Sue down by the marina. Although Lucy tells Quigley that is not quite the unusual jobs they provide, Quigley is undeterred. Remembering how fond Harry was of her, she goes down into the parking garage and hides in the back seat of his car to ask him to personally do the job -- springing out at a particularly inopportune moment in Los Angeles traffic and Harry is only too happy to comply. Lucy gets wind of this and Lucy an Mary Jane go to all lengths to try and stop him

So there was ONE other person who saw the "Grace Quigley" movie...If you had been around earlier, maybe Sue-Sue Tolsky-Tolsky would have had more of a career. She WAS funny and fit into the general tenor of Here's Lucy comedy. The only reason she doesn't win "broadest player in Here's Lucy" is that we have Irwine Charone and RG Brown vying for top place with her. I think there should have been a Here's Lucy spin off with all three of them. (perhaps you could come up with one)

How about a show about a wacky lady coroner entitled Quigley M.E.? It was a mistake to write that synopsis so early in the morning. Ever since, I have been hearing Kate Hepburn exclaim: "He took my shoe! He TOOK my SHOE!!"
