Mystery of Vivian's One-Time Appearance on HOLLYWOOD SQUARES

Sorry if this subject has been mentioned before or is common knowledge but does anyone know the story behind Vivian Vance's one episode appearance on HOLLYWOOD SQUARES in 1967? She was on Monday and then replaced for the rest of the week by Deborah Walley. I don't believe I've heard of that ever happening before on one of the game shows where the "celebrity" was replaced, I always thought all five episodes were filmed the same day. What happened? Did Vivian have a panic attack (seems incredible given all that work before studio audiences with Lucy)? Did she walk off in a huff? Suddenly get ill? Very strange and it's notable she was never a guest again on the show and they usually used the celebrities over and over, even "C" level ones.

December 11-15, 1967:

ART LINKLETTER, VIVIAN VANCE (12/11), DEBORAH WALLEY (12/12-15), CHARLEY WEAVER, DELLA REESE, WALLY COX, ROSE MARIE, JIM BACKUS, BILL BIXBY & GLENN FORD.

IMDb lists all ten stars for the five episodes and that can't be right given there are only nine squares.
