C L A U D E
Desi looks so young in this clip -- wonder if this was shot during the first year of ILL? Well, dun't forget that he dyed his hair and would wash it out after each show.
ilovelucy1992
it looks like the ILL years because of Lucy's hair and dress but Desi does look young! It seems like he looks so much younger when he's not Ricky. I noticed in the home movies during the ILL time he looks really young.
Magster
Mmm, mmm, mmm, let me get some king size lung cancer to go with my precious new King-Size Phillip Morris! If I had to guess, just going by the way they look, I'd say this was filmed mid-ish 1953, like toward the end of the second season.

Maybe the picture being fuzzy makes him look younger whereas the filmed look of the shows is too clear and you see more of his girth and age, besides he was only in his thirties at the time so . . .and i too can't look at those damned commercials without thinking how many millions died due to those damned ciggies.
