Just a heads up if anyone is interested. At 94...she's still at it! Phyllis Diller is scheduled to be on today's episode of "The Bold & The Beautiful" soap opera. She is playing her previous character of Gladys Pope.

That's just great, i just love seeing these older performers still finding work at an advanced age. Shame this couldn't have happened to Lucy back in the day, but as the soaps filmed in NYC maybe she could have done a small guest shot on one of her frequent trips to NY, as a zany character or something.

B&B is shot at legendary CBS Television City here in Hollywood, home at one time or another to All in the Family, Maude, Good Times, The Carol Burnett Show, Sonny & Cher, The Mary Tyler Moore Hour, Mama's Family, Match Game and the still going strong Price is Right, to name just a few.

Days of Our Lives, one of the few other still going daytime soaps, tapes at NBC in Burbank, so it's not as if all the soaps were always located in NYC, even if they were the majority. :D
