(This episode would air April 22nd, 1963 instead of the Runaway Butterfly)

The women are all set up to fill Easter eggs the night before the parade when they get called to put out a fire in New Rochelle. Lucy and Viv stay behind to fill the 5,000 plastic eggs with chocolate candy. Once they have started, they realize that the chocolate has completely melted from New York's unexpected April heat wave! In a desperate attempt to get all the eggs filled and have Easter dinner ready by morning, Viv resorts to filling them with loose change, decorative pebbles, packets of sugar, etc., etc., and Lucy cooks dinner.

Lucy and Viv stay up till all hours of the night filling eggs and are exhausted on Easter morning.

Mr. Barnsdahl shows up with two Easter Bunny costumes that Lucy and Viv had to wear in the parade. The parade commences but Lucy and Viv nearly pass out from the heat. They decide to go home but turn back when Lucy realizes her ring is gone! She and Viv run through the park where the eggs are hidden (still in their bunny outfits) and try desperately to find the egg with Lucy's ring. Feeling tired and dissapointed, they return home for Easter dinner. Lucy chips her tooth on something in the mashed potatoes-her ring!

This episode would feature Carole Cooke and Charles Lane.
