Brock Posted May 16, 2014 Report Share Posted May 16, 2014 A new show: Newburgh, NY - On December 17th, 1941, Lucille Ball stepped onto the stage at Newburgh's historic Ritz Theater next to her new husband, Desi Arnaz to perform a Vaudeville act. It was Ball's stage debut, not to mention her first time performing with Arnaz; this performance at the Ritz planted the seeds that would eventually lead to the creation of the iconic sitcom 'I Love Lucy.' This June, Lucy and Desi will return to the Ritz in the world premiere production of LUCY, ILLUMINATED, a new, original show in the spirit of Vaudeville variety.
