Neil
Note that the professor talks about an episode she's just seen that weekend that was not an I Love Lucy, but the Lucy Show episode "Lucy's Sister Pays a Visit". So "The Lucy Show" is still running in England? Her very favorite episode is "Lucy Wants a Career", the Paul Douglas LDCH. I don't know where the professor got her information. I don't know that I've heard the 1930 pneumonia story. I thought the interviewer was going to insult Carole "Miss Cooke, you have a huge body.....of work". There was just enough of a pause between 'body' and 'of work'. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04jk3qm
C L A U D E
WOW, that was just fascinating Neil, wonder how you found that but loved every minute, even when they needed a fact checker to tell them what they got WRONG. Sad it took me so long to find it.
