Mot Morenzi
I think this is one of the "strengths" if you will of Fidelman's "The Lucy Book" as it encompasses virtually her entire career and certainly does not focus solely on "ILL"... although I do find his (as the book goes on) own personal "criticisms" untoward and distracting and unnecessary....I'll form my own opinions thank you based on the information provided... and knowing what he prints as "fact" sometimes isn't also undermines his credibility, at least for me. Just my two centavos! In terms of the focus provided to her later TV career, Fidelman's book is unmatched. Yes, some may take issue with his opinions, but at least they're well thought out and reasoned. Even when I disagree with him, I find his reasoning solid and can understand why he feels the way he does. It's hard to remain completely objective when dealing with the subjective realm of comedy.
