GeneaLady
There are lots of opinions on colorized episodes, but does anyone else feel like watching them in B&W is like watching the Ricardos, but watching the colorized versions is more like watching the Arnazes? Luvsbway
The black and white sort of freezes them in time. It's the same with the color photos. When you see them they somehow seem more real, more present, so I see how this could translate to on film.
Freddie2
They'll always simultaneously be the Ricardos and Arnazes for me. Just because Lucy and Ricky were so much like Lucy and Desi in a weird way.
Irene Kampen Tripp
A very interesting point. Color brings the Arnazes out of the Ricardos.
