I'm finding some evidence that the trailer they had there was not the one from the movie but one given to them. Example 1. This article and the line under the top picture. The color of the trailer is different then the one in the movie. The yellow trailer from the movie. Example 2. This home movie footage of the kids running up to the trailer. From matching the lattice work it places it at the ranch. You can see that the color scheme is the same as the first picture. My conclusion is the yellow trailer was just a picture car and not furnished inside. Thus why they were given a fully furnished and finished trailer.
