For its annual benefit gala, Coyote StageWorks will present The Importance of Being Ernest (In New York) by Oscar Wilde and adapted and directed by David Zippel, who gives the famed comedy of Victorian manners a modern twist as a story of New Yorkers obsessed with social position. Theatre lovers will relish the contemporary reflection of current society, just as the play's initial audiences did in 1895, when a star-studded cast performs this brilliant comedy on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. Tickets for the benefit are $75 and $125 per person for performance only; $250 per person ticket includes VIP cast reception following performance.

 

Voted Best Live Theater by Desert Magazine in 2013 and 2014, Coyote StageWorks also won a record 20 Desert Star Awards from the Desert Theatre League in October 2014, bringing the total award count to 60 since its first production in 2009.
