Mot Morenzi
Sad news. I don't think I've ever heard any of his songs but I certainly knew of his impact.
Brock
Shocking news to wake up to. My clock radio went off this morning and they were playing Under Pressure and they mentioned they were playing it in his memory. Deflating. He was an incredible performer and one of the few people who could truly be described as iconic.
tropicjeff
I guess he is iconic to some but to me he isn't a legend like Desi. He isn't fit to touch the hem of his bernouse.
LittleRickyII
This terrible news this week really touched me, and shocked me. There have only been a handful of celebrities whose deaths moved me to tears, and Bowie's was one of them. I wasn't a huge fan, but I liked a lot of his music. I particularly like his song Fame, which is one of my all-time favorite rock songs. I especially love the sax! I used to listen to that song over and over and OVER again. And I was in college when Let's Dance came out. Hearing that song makes me feel very nostalgic. And Under Pressure (I am a big Queen fan.) The first time I ever remember seeing him was on a Bing Crosby special. What an odd pairing!
