Wednesday, March 97:00 - 8:00 p.m. Actor-writer Laurence Luckinbill performs his one-man show Clarence Darrow Tonight! about the famed American lawyer. Darrow, immortalized in the play Inherit the Wind, was a primary member of the American Civil Liberties Union who fought for civil rights, better working conditions, and against the death penalty. In other one-man shows that he has written, Luckinbill has played Lyndon Johnson, Teddy Roosevelt, and Ernest Hemingway. The Cultural Commission supports the development and prospering of the cultural environment of the City of Rancho Mirage by enhancing access to cultural amenities for all residents. This event is open to the public, and will be held in the Community Room where seating is limited.
