I don't know what it is this week but 2 articles on vacation homes this week claiming Lucy owned them. Do people not check names on deeds anymore?

Any idea about the Viv listing claiming to be hers in the first link?

Shelly, I doubt it.

Despite recently re-reading the book about Viv, I don't recall any mention of her living/owning in Hancock Park, which isn't Beverly Hills nor Bel Air but large parts of it certainly one of the more upscale, swankier parts of LA -- and certainly much closer to the studios where ILL was filmed. I do know it mentioned at one point she had a home in Pacific Palisades, another nice LA neighborhood but way out and much closer to the ocean.

As for that "vacation" home supposedly of LB's, I don't believe that either, why would she own a home there when she didn't return there for years at a time?? Doesn't make any sense to me.... unless it was actually "just" family and/or investment property.

Currently residing in Palm Springs, if any "reconnaissance" needed I'm more than willing, as I still haven't tracked down most of these local places; also, there are several "reference" books of I'm sure varying veracity which list either past or current "stars"/celebrity addresses, etc. or their history during Palm Springs and environs heyday as an up-and-coming vacation destination to the stars back in the 50s... so while I haven't invested in any myself, they're readily available (even at our hardware store!) for reference if need be.
