Carole Cook in "Cabaret Alive & Well & Living in LA"

Our own "Energizer bunny" Miss Carole Cook is one of many Hollywood vets appearing this weekend in one of three cabaret shows featuring not only Miss Cook but other familiar faces such as Mary Jo Catlett ("Different Strokes"), Barrett Foa ("CSI Los Angeles"), Sally ("All in the Family") Struthers, JoAnne Worley ("Laugh-In"), Bruce Vilanch (comedian/Oscar-writer/actor ("Hairspray"), and Loretta Devine ("Grey's Anatomy"; "Carmichael Show") among many others! 

 

Given the talent on stage and behind the scenes (this is being produced by the masterful David Galligan, who produces the two highly-regarded (and sadly, still needed) all-star AIDS benefits, "Help Is On the Way" in San Francisco and "S.T.A.G.E." here in LA), so I would expect it will be not one but THREE very fun-filled evenings!!!

 

This Fri., Sat. and Sun. the third annual CABARET IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING IN LOS ANGELES, Benefit Concert series for The Actors Fund, takes place with two nights at Tom Rolla’s Gardenia, plus Sunday evening at the Catalina Jazz Club. The weekend event was conceived by David Galligan and is presented by Fraser Entertainment Group.

Scheduled to appear Fri. & Sat. nights, 10/14 & 10/15 in “Together Again for the Third Time” at the Gardenia - : Michele Brourman (Fri. only), Mary Jo Catlett, Carole Cook, Ilene Graff & Ben Lanzarone, Jane A. Johnston, Marsha Kramer, Pat Marshall, Kevin Odekirk, Lilli Passero, Lisa Passero, Marcia Rodd, Lisa Vroman, Pat Whiteman & Jo Anne Worley, with Music Director Gerald Sternbach. $50 plus 2-drink minimum.

Scheduled to appear Sun. night, 10/16 at 7:30 in “Right This Way, Your Table’s Waiting” at Catalina - : Eileen Barnett, Karen Benjamin, Loretta Devine, Barrett Foa, Dianne Fraser, Julie Garnyé, Gary Imhoff, Mark Arthur Miller, Walter Winston Oneil, Kate Pazakis, Joan Ryan, Sally Struthers & Joanne Tatham. Hosted by Peter Marc Jacobson & Bruce Vilanch, with Music Director Michael Sobie. SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY FRAN DRESCHER. $25 plus 2-drink minimum.

All proceeds benefit The Actors Fund.
