Shemp
Actor Bill Erwin died at age 96, on December 31, 2010. He played the bum in I LOVE LUCY's "Lucy and the Loving Cup." Over 60 years as very prolific actor in film and TV, he is usually remembered as 'Arthur the bellman' in the Christopher Reeve / Jane Seymour romance-fantasy SOMEWHERE IN TIME (1980). L.A. Brock
Oh no! I just remarked to my family over Christmas how cool it was he was still alive after we came across two of his credits on within hours of each other -- Home Alone and as Mr. Hubbard in the Golden Girls episode Questions & Answers. R.I.P. Bill.

Such sad news. I'm a big fan of "Somewhere in Time." I didn't know he played the bum on "Lucy and the Loving Cup."
PuttyNose
He was also hilarious in the Seinfeld ep "The Old Man"! If you look at the comments there's one from Bill's grandchild about a year ago. So he's been not well for a while. R.I.P.
