The evening begins at five o'clock at the Lucy-Desi Museum, with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a tour of the Museum. Music will be provided by local musician Steve Swanson, followed by a screening of a film starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, with your photo taken to commemorate the evening. Souvenirs for the evening: a long stemmed red rose for the lady, and a wine glass with chocolate hearts for the gentleman. This special was the final appearance with Lucille and Vivian Vance (Lucy's Ethel Mertz) as well as the last time Lucille worked with Mary Jane Croft and Mary Wickes. Lucille had also just lost her mother, 7/1977. MPI Home Video brings this Lucy Special to DVD, coming 4/6/10, with bonus features, including dress rehearsal footage; Lucille with the cast, as well as a featurette, with guest actor, James E. Brodhead, and other rare Lucille footages. Lucie appeared on the Night of 100 stars in '82 alone, Gary had told Lucy NOT to go which infuriated her when she saw who HAD been on the show when it made the newspapers the next day but with her mom Lucy on the '85 one and only Lucy's picture is shown on the last one in 1990 as part of the In Memoriam section of all the stars who had appeared on the previous two shows but had passed on.

Claude: Please direct me to the erroneous entry; I KNEW I had mixed up Circus with the Stars, and Night of 100 Stars, SOMEWHERE; but, so far, had been unable to 'find' it for correction. I've looked several times and couldn't find it either, maybe it wasn't even on the ones from this week and i just mentionned it HERE?
