An unknown singer and dancer blows everyone away last night night at the Tropricana!!! The unknown entertainer who danced and sang "Sally Sweet" at the Tropicana Nightclub was rushed to the hospital for exhaustion and malnutrition. Her performance has been cancelled indefintely. One of Ricky Ricardo's showgirls is suing the Tropicana Club for abduction and kidnapping. The owner of the club said this suit will most likely be settled out of court. She is now at residence at the New York Hospital for treatment of malnutrition. Ricky Ricardo has replaced the showgirl who will dance and sing in the "Cuban Pete/ Sally Sweet" show with veteran vaudevillian Ethel Mae Potter of "Mertz And Kurtz". Her first show starts tonight. The showgirl employed by The Tropicana Nightclub who filed a lawsuit against the TNC for abduction and kidnapping has agreed to an out of court settlement. She will receive a years supply of free orange and gratefruit juice from Tropicana Juice Company. BREAKING NEWS!!! Two women started a riot at Madison Square Garden after refusing to leave because they violated the dress code for attending the prize fights there. Ricky shouldn't be reading other peepers papers. I think the most hilarious scene is the day after Lucy steals John Wayne's footprints. A hospital administrator told us that she escaped from the third floor window using three bedsheets tied together to make a rope. Her whearebouts at this time is unknown. "The Tropicana NightClub" has been closed down due to a pipe burst during the opening number of "Cuban Pete/Sally Sweet". The water rose to 6th ft. within 6 minutes. Ethel Mae Potter who replaced Lucy McGillicuddy Ricardo was rescued by Ricky Ricardo, headliner and bandleader of "The Tropicana NightClub". They both floated out together on his conga drum. Carlotta Romero a female impersonator has reported the theft of her Carmen Miranda outfit. A $5,000 award has been issued for its whereabouts. Doctors say if it wasn't for the quick thinking of the local diminutive milk man, Mrs. Foster's injuries could have been permanent. While nurses lovingly dyed her hair back to its "natural platinum hue" at the request of Mr. Foster, Mrs. Foster said that she plans on going red again, "perhaps by the time my neighbours, the Ricardos, celebrate their next wedding anniversary." The body of the woman who was electrocuted by using scissors to cut an electrical wire on the roof of 623 E. 68th. St. is not the body of Lucille McGillicuddy Ricardo as first reported. We have been notified by sources that Mrs. Ricardo is resting comfortably in a trauma ward at a nearby hospital for hypothermia. Fred Mertz owner and landlord of the 623 E. 68th.St. apartment building found Mrs. Ricardo's body in the freezer in the basement of his building, frozen. Fred Mertz found Mrs. Ricardo dressed in a Carmen Miranda outfit and headdress that was previously reported as stolen two days ago by female impersonator Carlotta Romero. There are no details why Mrs. Ricardo was wearing this outfit and why she ended up locked in a freezer. What we do know is that when Mrs. Ricardo recovers, she will be facing at least two felony charges. One for the theft of the Carmen Miranda outfit, and the other for vandalizing the Tropicana Nightclub. Unidentified woman who was electrocuted at the top of 623 E.68th. St. building has not been identified yet!!! Yet sources believe that she could possibly be the notorious "Sticky Fingers Sal" or the mysterious woman "Madame X". One other source suggests that it could also be "Evelyn Holmby", the famed hatchet murderess. DNA testing is being conducted. We will be notified of its findings in the next few days. (But it always bothers me when watching that episode that she does something that should have fried her but doesn't get even the tiniest jolt!) If you want to see a jolt and wonder why the character walked away not fried, watch the "Here's Lucy" episode "Lucy The Fixer". Harry Carter(played by Gale Gordon) is actually electrocuted and afterwards just lays down and takes several aspirins for the pain. Ricky Ricardo is accusing Lucy Ricardo of having an affair with their landlord Fred Mertz. Grace Foster, a neighbor to the Ricardos witnessed Fred Mertz entering the Ricardos apartment when Ricky Ricardo wasn't home. Grace Foster further stated that she has seen Lucy Ricardo tweaking Fred Mertz's cheek and calling him "Buster". We sought to get a comment from Ricky Ricardo. He said to us "that this is a private matter between his wife Lucy Ricardo and their landlord Fred Mertz, I have no further comments." We also sought to get a comment from Fred Mertz's wife, Ethel Mertz, unfortunately we were told that she is on vacation getting her gall bladder taken out. We would like to make a correction on a recent news account of Mrs. Fred Mertz wife of Mr. Fred Mertz who is landlord of bandleader Ricky Ricardo. We were notified by the doctors who did the procedure that they removed her gall stones rather than her gall bladder. We are so sorry for the confusion. DOCTORS FOUND RARE ITEMS IN ETHEL MERTZ'S GALL BLADDER The doctors who did a gall bladder operation for Mrs Fred Mertz wife of Fred Mertz landlord of bandleader Ricky Ricardo, notified us that they found upon removing Mrs. Mertzes gall stones a 4 carat diamond wedding ring and a pearl necklace. Fred Mertz after being notified of this development is thrilled that these items were found in the surgical procedure. "I have been looking for these missing items for several years!!! I thought they were stolen!!! This is greeeeat!!! The ring and necklace will pay for the medical and travel expenses for my wife's much needed vacation!!!"
