I love how you now can zoom in to articles and read the clipping. Here is a great one (upper right hand corner) article on how Lucy feels about being married to Gary http://www.ebay.com/itm/rare-VTG-Lucille-Ball-MAGAZINE-CLIPPINGS-Mame-1970s-GARY-MORTON-/350664995673?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51a5433359 The article near bottom left corner is an article stating Lucy can go back to series work because she has an open door policy with the network and is bored. I know Lucy was bored after Here's Lucy ended but is it true about the policy? If yes, why didn't she go back and only do a few specials. There were clips shown of Mame (I know the title number was included) as part of a Warner Bros. retrospective at the 1973 Cannes Festival. Mame was still being filmed when these clips were shown. I couldn't read that article you are talking about but it is probably trash. I just like the pics and the article about her coming back maybe.
