I'm sorry but I saw that clip in color as I remember when she switches to an evening gown, it was that floor length blue number, or maybe I just had the blues when I watched it last I dunno. Sorry, saw a colorized version of his show at the Museum of Broadcasting, but I was high on drugs at that time, so maybe I imagined it. LOL!
