Brock
Just casually browsing IMDB and wondered whether Mabel Paige was the Lucy guest star with the earliest consistent movie career? Her first film credit is in 1912 and she worked pretty consistently until her death in 1954. Mrs. Dorothea Wolbert, President of the Ladies Overseas Aid, and Hedda Hopper began their careers in 1916 working consistently through the silents and the talkies and then television until their respective deaths. Bill Frawley dabbled a little bit in film at this time, but didn't start working consistently in front of the camera until much later, as is the case with another contender, Edward G. Robinson. Behind the camera, Karl Freund tops them all with the first credit listed in 1911. Did anyone else get the ball rolling before 1912?
HarryCarter
Interesting topic! It looks like Torben Meyer, who played the oom-pah bandleader in Lucy in the Swiss Alps, began his film career in 1910 in Demark. He continued to work steadily in Danish films until 1926. In 1928 he started making films in the US and was constantly working up to his Lucy appearance 28 years later.

Neil
What about Elizabeth Patterson who was already 37 in 1912?
