Mot Morenzi
Goodtimes included snippets in their various Lucy documentaries, but I'd love to see the complete footage of Jack Benny crashing the "I Love Lucy" set that were filmed the night of "Pregnant Women Are Unpredictable". Are there any legal issues that would prevent these appearing on the next Blu Ray release, or is this a distinct possibility? Also, does anyone know if this footage has been released elsewhere so far?

Desiluforever
Now, an example of my ignorance: What is 'Goodtimes'????? Thanks for teaching me. JK Goodtimes created several Lucy documentaries ( "Funny World of Lucy Vol 1 and 2", "Lucy's Lost Episodes, and "A Tribute to Lucy" .... correct me if there are more). The first one is from 1989 and they released them (or re-released) up to 2001. The "A Tribute to Lucy" documentary had the Jack Benny footage. FreddieMertz
Doesn't Goodtimes do a lot of public domain stuff? I also think Stu Shostak does something with Shokus. You can reach shokus at shokus.com and I don't think Goodtimes exists anymore. Hope I could help
Luvsbway
Stu stated back in the 70s collecting vintage TV. I've heard him say these public domain companies got a lot from him (by copying his stuff not finding it on their own). From what I understand Goodtimes is all public domain. Mot Morenzi
Desiluforever: BEAUTIFUL signature image! Yes, Goodtimes Home Video issued a lot of public domain material, and they made surprisingly enjoyable Lucy documentaries utilizing those sources. There were some factual errors, but overall they were quite solid.
JoeySanJoaquin
Shokus IS Stu Shostak...and vice-versa: He's had vintage VHS and DVD titles for sale for ages! http://www.shokus.com/
C L A U D E
Oh yes, Desiluforever, loved your pic of Lucy from the Oscars but this new one is just very creative and unusual, love it a lot!

leenorman
Guess I better say THANK YOU to all of you, in a group setting; since you are all so more knowledgeable than I am. I appreciate it. I knew about the Stu stuff; but had not run across the Goodtimes' stuff.... You are the best friends I have in the Lucy world; maybe in the world. Loving each of you, JK
FreddieMertz
Good old amazon should have all the Goodtimes titles.
Mot Morenzi
Yes, I don't think there's a Goodtimes website anymore, but here's what to look for on Amazon. The Funny World of Lucy Volumes 1 and 2. Make sure to get both together if possible. That's where my avatar images came from. A Tribute to Lucy. Older documentary that has longer clips in some instances. Lucy's Lost Episodes. A great collection of Lucy & Desi appearances on other shows. C L A U D E
All of those were great compilations, wish they'd make more with so much other material that often gets overlooked when showing our Lady of Beverly Hills.
